National Reading and Numeracy Tests

Pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will sit the National Reading and Numeracy Tests.

The school is particularly keen to recruit new members whose skills would broaden the skills base of the Governing Body, and the role of Community Governor aims to ensure community representation and community interest on the Governing Body. Sandy Bear, with support from the WI, have donated a remembrance tree for our well-being garden. Sandy Bear is a Pembrokeshire charity dedicated to improving and strengthening the emotional health and well-being of young people aged 0-18 (and their families), who have experienced the death of a loved one. We aim to reduce emotional difficulties in childhood and the prevalence of mental illness in later life that can result in a decreased quality of life, poorer educational attainment, social and health problems and increased vulnerability.It is hoped that the tree will provide a focal point for children who have experienced a bereavement and a quiet place for them to remember a loved one. Read More…
