3.1       Photographs of participants in Ysgol Harri Tudur / Henry Tudor School activities

Participants in Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School activities will only have their photographs added to the website if we have received formal written permission from their parent/guardian/carer. During the course of Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School activities, authorised Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School personnel may take photographs of the participants undertaking the activities if and only if such formal written permission is already in place. We do so in order to provide a visual record of the activities for others interested in our school; to encourage participants, who are often keen to see their photos on the website; and to demonstrate participation and enthusiasm to parents, guardians and carers. Photographs are checked by a designated member of Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School senior staff before being published on the website. No information is provided with the photographs which would allow individual participants to be personally identified, unless their parent/guardian/carer has explicitly given permission for this to happen. Any photograph depicting a participant who does not have the formal written permission of their parent/guardian/carer agreeing that their photograph can be used on the Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School website will not be uploaded to the website, and will be deleted immediately.

3.2       Names of members of school

The full name of a pupil or student will only be published on the website if we have prior written permission from their parent/guardian/carer. The full name of a member of staff will only be published on the website if we have their formal permission in writing.

 

4.0      How do we use personal information collected from or placed on the website?

We will never share your personal information, including photographs, with any third party without your express written permission in advance, unless required to do so for legal reasons. In the case of individuals aged under 18 we will not share their personal information with any third party without the express written permission of their parent/guardian/carer.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law if we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

 

5.0       Where is the information stored?

Our website is hosted on a secure server in a data centre within the UK, the EU or the EEA, and access to the administration interface is restricted via strong passwords and is exclusively available via standard internet encryption protocols (SSL).

The data stored on our website is not used for marketing purposes of any kind.

Our authorised website developer and hosting provider is Intexta Web Services (www.intexta.com) who fully adhere to the requirements and provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Intexta’s privacy policy can be found at www.intexta.com/privacy.php. In order to facilitate the smooth running and maintenance of our website we may as required supply Intexta with data about Ysgol Harri Tudur / Henry Tudor School events or activities for uploading to the website. Intexta guarantee that their staff adhere to all the data protection provisions outlined in this privacy statement. Intexta are responsible for ensuring the secure maintenance of the web server and for providing or deleting data from the server as and when requested by our Data Protection Officer.

The trenching work will commence on 11 Mar 24 by Welsh Water on behalf of the new Welsh primary school being built by Morgan Sindell.
